Commissioned as part of Tate Modern’s Contemporary Intervention Series, which examines the institutions and practices of the modern art museum. Emma Kay has become known for her memory pieces in different media that consider the subjective nature of knowledge and memory, and the systems by which we collectively perceive, store and access bodies of knowledge.
